Monika WEISSHAUPT

(Born in Zurich 1960) is a Swiss citizen, an attorney at law / lawyer / solicitor. She is admitted to the Bar of SWITZERLAND since 1992 and registered in Zurich.

Education:  1988 J.D. University of Zurich, Switzerland; MBA, University of Chicago, IL., USA; postgraduate degree in European Competition law, King’s College, London, Great Britain.

Professional experience:  Almost ten years of practice as Legal and General Counsel (OERLIKON-BÜHRLE and OERLIKON CONTRAVES and as temporary Legal Counsel of different industrial companies), as well as ten years of experience as associate and self-employed lawyer for individuals and companies.

Areas of Practice:  Commercial Law (emphasis on Contract Law), Intellectual Property and Competition Law, Corporate Law, Rules on Conflict of Law, Estate Law, Banking and Securities Law, Aviation Law, Seminars in the above Subjects for Non-Lawyers, Coaching of Lawyers, Coaching for Contract Negotiations in the International Field.
